Based on years of experience in cost work,this paper finds that engineering changes caused by poor management of contract interface affect the target cost.Therefore,this paper studies the impact of the owner’s contract interface management on engineering change performance.This paper takes the contract interface management as the independent variable,the impact of engineering change performance on cost control objectives,construction period control objectives,quality control objectives and HSE management objectives as the dependent variable,and the trust level between the owner and the contractor as the regulating variable,and constructs a research model.Data were collected on the questionnaire star platform,and 107 valid questionnaires were obtained after screening.Then,reliability and validity analysis of the data were conducted,and AHP was used to test the data.According to the analysis,there is a negative correlation between the management level of the contract interface and the impact on cost,construction period,quality control objectives and HSE management objectives.It indicates that the higher the level of contract interface management,the less negative impact on all aspects,so as to prove that the higher the performance of engineering change.Secondly,the trust level between the owner and the contractor can strengthen the negative correlation between the management level of the contract interface and the impact on the quality control objectives and HSE management objectives,but the trust level of both parties cannot strengthen the negative correlation between the management level of the contract interface and the impact on the control objectives of cost and construction period.The significance of this study is to solve the problem that poor management of the contract interface leads to the reduction of project change performance in the later stage and thus affects the project benefit in the process of contract management.In the process of practice,the seven measures proposed by the contract interface management are controlled,and the impact on the engineering change performance in the four aspects of cost,construction period,quality and HSE management objectives is reduced through the strengthening of management in seven aspects,so as to improve the engineering change performance.Also can make owner aware additionally.The positive impact of contract interface management on project change performance can also be moderated by fostering trust with contractors.The theoretical significance makes up for the deficiency of the research on the impact of contract interface management on engineering change performance in the field of engineering change research,and enriches the theoretical content of the research on the impact of contract interface management on engineering change performance in engineering construction. |
