Design The China Mobile Company Southern Base’s Distribution Network Automation System Based On The EPON Communication Technology

In recent years, as China’s economic and social development,people’s living standards constantly improving,especially after submitting the target-Comprehensive construction of well-off society in the18th national people’s Congress,people increasingly higher demands on the reliability of power supply. In power systems, power distribution networks as a critical part of the user-oriented,the distribution network is perfect or not is the key factor in improving the reliability of power supply. As the electricity market gradually established,incomplete development of existing distribution networks has become increasingly prominent,after focus reflected in fault detection and fault service restoration, processing,and distribution of load transfer for problems. Implementation of distribution automation technology is the key to solving the above problems. China mobile base in the South as a top China mobile based on the global production and development base,it’s China’s important bases of communication services to the international,due to the particularities of its communications industry,loading densities belonging to point load distribution,high demands on reliability,therefore, the construction of distribution network automation system in the base as become particularly important.Restricting the development of distribution automation technology key to its communication system therefore this article first describes developments in the domestic and international distribution network automation technology,raised the importance of building automation system in distribution network, went on to a more comprehensive overview of distribution network automation system. Through the analysis of communications technology,focus describes the EPON and GPRS technology, analysis their technology features and advantage, and through on analysis the base’s existing distribution network,made a period distribution network heavy structure and II period distribution network planning of programme,and combine the two kinds of communication methods to develop the base’s distribution network automation system. The system rely primarily on EPON communications technology and secondary equpped with the GPRS wireless communications.The system was designed to improve the reliability of power system and the distribution network’s level of intelligence,it can brought about great economic and social benefits.
