At present,the State Grid Corporation is building smart grids in various provinces and cities under its jurisdiction.The development of smart distribution networks is very important.It is an important component in terms of power grids.Real-time regulation can be realized for each key part of the power grid to achieve the purpose of improving the management level of power supply and the reliability of power supply.Distribution network systems are quite complex relative to power generation and transmission systems.The geographical coverage is wide,the types of technologies are large,the construction is difficult,and the construction period is relatively long.Therefore,the construction of the distribution network system is relatively backward and immature.China is in the period of rapid development of social economy.Frequent power outages or overhauls will affect the stable development of society.Therefore,China must build a mature and stable distribution automation system.The realization of various functions of the distribution automation system is inseparable from the communication system.The data transmission,therefore,the communication system has an important position in the distribution automation system,only the meticulous research on the distribution automation communication system can better develop the distribution automation system.The main research aspects of this paper are as follows:(1)Firstly,the detailed research on the distribution automation system is carried out,the function of the system is introduced in detail,the composition is also introduced in detail,and the significance of distribution automation is discussed.(2)After understanding the distribution automation system,research on the communication system of distribution automation,according to the role of the distribution automation communication system and what requirements should be met by the communication system,and the detailed composition of the research,through the above research to obtain the distribution The access mode of the electric automation communication system,and the comparison of several existing communication methods to obtain the most suitable communication mode,and the use of optical fiber communication,and according to the requirements and characteristics of the distribution network communication system,the fiber communication is obtained.At this level,EPON technology is the most suitable.(3)Carry out detailed research on EPON technology,study its composition,characteristics,principles,access methods,etc.,and determine the EPON technology from the aspects of networking structure,environment,bandwidth,data security and capacity expansion.feasibility.(4)After determining the feasibility of EPON technology,the Nantong distribution automation communication system is analyzed and researched.Firstly,the status quo and main problems of Nantong distribution network are analyzed,and the technical requirements of Nantong distribution communication network are deteramined.The networking method is used to calculate and compare the failure rate,and the networking mode of "hand in hand" is the most effective.It was finally determined that the Nantong distribution communication system adopts the "hand in hand" networking mode based on EPON technology,and the implementation plan of the Nantong distribution network communication system is planned and designed.The Nantong distribution automation communication system based on EPON technology satisfies the requirements of the Nantong distribution network automation system.The EPON networking topology and the power distribution topology are completely consistent.The networking mode is simple and reliable,and the power distribution is automated.The system provides an efficient and secure communication system,which perfectly supports the distribution automation business and enables the distribution automation system to run stably.
