A Research Of The Culture Of Meishan Black Tea And The Design Of Its Exposition Space

Nowadays, in the field of building, people are more likely to appreciate strange shape and nonlinear architecture. Against this background, some rational architects begin to pay attention to reginal and local buildings. The most famous speaker of these rational architects is Mr. Wangshu who has won the Priztker Architecture Prize in2012. He advocates the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture in a creative way and he believes that it would evoke architect’s confidence for our native culture. Then they will come up with architecture embodied with local memory, so consequently, history can be presented lively. All these factors can arouse both people’s cognition of yesterday and thinking of tomorrow. Based on thinking of folk culture, this paper starts with the research of Meishan culture ecology garden as the foundation to refine and summarize its folklore and designs out the farm village of regional feature.Architectural design’s main goal is to meet the needs of the people to live, and then is a symbol of cognitive, namely under different cultural background, according to its geographical, environmental and lifestyle, designers will produce a variety of architectural styles. As time changes, new buildings have come out instead of old buildings and new building materials have replaced traditional materials in the past.Now great changes have taken place for buildings on the dimension, texture, atmosphere. In a mass production environment, architectural style tend to be the same throughout the country, people’s sense of belonging in culture is more and more fuzzy than ever before. In architectural and environmental design, how to show local culture become the sensitive topic of the experts and scholars concern.The international project of Meishan cultural park construction and design is in hosted by Professor Chen Feihu. This project is located in Anhua county, Yiyang, Hunan province. Meishan park will be built to be a perfect place to produce and show the local black tea. The architectural style of Meishan park will go with that of Meishan cultural park, manifesting the farm courtyard’s primitive simplicity, ecology and the pursuit of natural and devotion. The author has consulted a large number of historical documents and recent research on Meishan cultural achievements, and has held several field trips in Anhua county, Hunan. Combined with the characteristics of Meishan cultural park, we have come up with the design method of regional style.At the same time the thesis combining with author’s graduation design practice expressed by various regional theory and design strategy. Using media article of the appendix, introduced the technique of the art of "meishan farm" designs.
