There have been numerous forms of architecture since it develops. The form "fabric" is morespecial among them. In the past, it often appeared as the structure part of a building; but now, with the development of era and society, it begins to appear frequently in the process of thevarious types of buildings in cities, which is associated with skin happening, or withparameterized construction, or with energy-saving and environment-friendly buildings. It has carried on a detaileddiscussion and analysis on literal transparency of "fabric" and its’ phenomenal transparencybehind it, based on the transparency of "fabric" and its differences of the "interspace".At first, this paper introduced the "fabric" history and its connotation in modern constructionin order to elicit the transparency of "fabric". Secondly, it discussed the "interspace" incharacteristics of transparency of "fabric" and its gestalt principle and principle of the surfaceto lay a necessary theoretical basis for the core part below. Then, this article put forward threemajor differences of "interspace", especially explaining literal transparency of "fabric" and itsphenomenal transparency behind it with different "interspace".
