| Henan Province is located in the central plain area, which lead to its pivotal position inChina’s road network. With the diversification of investors and the formation of theexpressway network, contradiction between the method which determine vehicle routes basedon the shortest path and fuzzy split toll and the need of accurate settlement from differentinvestment entities is getting increasingly prominent, expressway management department aretrying to find better ways to solve this problem.On the basis of intensive study of expressway network in Henan Province, necessity ofpath identification problem is analyzed; RFID technology is employed to implement precisetoll split system based on comparative analysis of various path identification technologies.Combined with license plate recognition system, system model of "distributed redundancyway split" is proposed, solution of "Dual-channel" RF communication technology and licenseplate recognition complemented with RFID technology is applied, thus can not only guaranteeefficient operation of the system, but also guarantee its accuracy by using license platerecognition system in case of abnormal condition.Test platform is constructed according to the design in the paper, general scheme of thistest platform, hardware and software architecture as well as testing processes are introducedand described. By practical test on the road, results show that the system can effectively solvethe multipath problem, capable of precise toll split and accurate identification of the path ofthe vehicle. Reliability, lifetime and anti-interference ability of this system can fitrequirement.Precise path identification and accurate split of tolls not only increase toll revenue forinvestment owners economically, but also supply the intelligent management withfoundational technology, improve the management level of road network, provide practicaltechnical storage for intelligent traffic management such as ETC and non-cash transactions. |
