To fundamentally ease the contradiction of traffic congestion, travel inconvenience,environment pollution and so on, must set up the concept of public transport prioritydevelopment, and public transport in urban traffic development in the first place. Tospeed up the building to give priority to public transport, by rail transit network, bus,tram, etc of urban motorized travel system, at the same time improve walking andbicycle travel conditions. However, as public transport run in a fixed line, stop at fixedsite dock, it is difficult to achieve the “door to door” service, need to cooperate withother traffic tools to solve the problem of the passenger flow distribution. Bicycle is atool with good accessibility and flexible, it can be convenient for public transporttransfer cohesion by part of the residents traveling, in order to increase the appeal ofpublic transport passenger flow volume, make public transportation play its proper roleinto full. Therefore, in this paper, system and comprehensive study of bicycles andpublic transport transfer have important theory value and practical significance.This article first analyzing the characteristics of the bike, rail transportation andconventional public traffic, on this basis, have a system research on bicycle to the citypublic traffic transfer cohesion. Analysis two parking facilities in public transportinterchange, application of parking facility site selection of TOPSIS method werestudied, construct the objective optimization function to calculate and determine theweights of indicators. Design the transfer station of bicycle parking lot and analysis thetraffic organization of the parking lot. Analysis the status quo of public bicycle rentalstation, establish mathematical model, have a research on public bicycle rental stationoptimized deployment in a certain area. Analysis bicycles and public transport transferon travel distance, travel cost, travel purpose and so on, determine the reasonabletransfer distance, construct bike transfer facilities, improve the public transport moreattractive. Design the road for bicycle change to public transportation from roads, public station and junction site, make within the scope of the site to form a continuous andsafety of the bicycle road network. Finally proposed the policy to promote bicycles andpublic transport transfer.
