In the digital control system, monitoring the operating status of the system is notonly one of the most important tasks of the operators, but also the basis and premiseof controlling the system running correctly. There is wide space in research of thetransfer mechanism of monitor behavior in the field of digital controlling systemoperators’ monitor behavior recently.At the first we research the law of monitor behavior in the field of digitalcontrolling system operators’ monitor behavior Our objects of observation are4teams,16operators in LingDong nuclear power plant, three hours per class, a total of20shifts, and the total time is60hours. In the digital main control room, we observedand interviewed normal operation, glitch operation, and operation of complexaccident of the operator when they are in normal and emergency operation. weobserved13276monitor transfers. After analyzing, inducing, summarizing the dataobtained, we found the operators’ monitor behavior could be classified into the kinds,which are procedure transfer, abnormal transfer, and exchange transfer, in the digitalcontrol system that is under complex dynamics. procedure transfer is the transferbased on system operating procedures, and abnormal transfer is the monitoringtransfer caused by alarm signal after the system’s occurrence of abnormal or changedparameter, and exchange transfer is the monitoring transfer based on the reminderposed by the other workers in the nuclear power plant. The times of exchangetransfer is29%of the total transfer times, abnormal transfer is14%, regulationtransfer is36%, and others are21%.After, we research the visual attention model of the operator’s between screen monitor during the execution procedures in Digital plant master control room, a shiftmodel of visual attention was set up Based on the field observation.A shift model ofvisual attention was proposed based on Markov process,and the solving algoirthm ofthe model was given.Finally the feasibility of the model was verified through a case.The discovery of rules of monitoring transfer provides an important theoreticalreference for research on transfer mechanisms of monitoring behavior deeply. And thediscovery of a shift model of visual attention of visual attention model of theoperator’s between screen monitor during the execution procedures in Digital plantmaster control room provide a theoretical approach for research of characteristics ofOperator visual monitoring attention distribution and each process demands forattention of visual monitor of operator. It has a certain theoretical and practicalengineering significance.
