The economy has developed rapidly that brings the rich material comforts to humans, at the same time it brings the incalculable damage to the environment, which seriously affectes the production of human society and the sustainable development of life. CNC lathe is the most widely used tools in China’s manufacturing industry, on the other hand it is also a source of environmental pollution and waste of resources. With the overall rise of environmental awareness, the green-redesign of CNC lathe becomes the new areas by scholars and it becomes an effective way to improve CNC lathe’s green degree through reducing the pollution and waste in the source.The content of this paper are as follows:(1) The definition of green-redesign is presented,basic requirements of green-redesign in CNC is established to reduce the impact in resource and environment, establishing the models of green-redesign which includes the target, life-cycle and technology frame layer to research the redesign systemly.(2) The CK.A6150CNC lathe is the object. The shortage of main drive and feed drive is analyzed, using the electric spindle and linear motor drive to shorten the length of the drive chain; the cast iron and composite concrete material is compared, the result is that the composite concrete material is superior to the cast iron; a automatic chip conveyor is designed in this paper which achieves the goal of automatic cleanup the chip with the chain chip conveyor; the electronic lock is used to ensure the safety of the process, the air nozzle is used to wind the chip from dead zone timely.(3) The purpose is to build the evaluation index system in green degree of CNC and to determine the indicators and sub-indicators of green degree of level. At the same time, the Modified Fuzzy evaluation method is suitable to CK.A6150CNC Lathe. The calculation method is used to determine the weights and combination weights; the membership function is established; and the comprehensive green degree is determined.(4) The improved fuzzy AHP analysis method is used to evaluated the green degree of CKA6150CNC lathe. The green degree of reference and green-redesigned is compared.The result is that the green degree is improved by green-redesigned.
