Landscape Pattern Analysis And Optimization Of Wanan Mountain In Luoyang

This paper mainly analyzed the landscape pattern and optimization ofWanAn Mountain in the southeast of LuoYang city in Henan province. First, thepaper collected relevant information and images about Wan Anshan throughon-the-spot investigation and related literature, research work on urban fringe andlandscape ecological planning. Second, the location, development model andevolution of urban morphology was analyzed dynamically; the relationship betweenLuoyang city and its surrounding landscape elements and the status and function ofsurrounding hills and rivers in the process of urban development was discussed todraw conclusions of the relationship between Wanan Mountain as urban fringe andLuoyang city in structure, function and ecology and strategic position in regionalcontext; the requirements for landscape pattern and ecological function of WananMountain under present urban development was also discussed. Third, based on theresults of reference images and field investigation, WanAn Mountain landscapepattern characteristics were obtained through landscape pattern index databaseestablished by Arcgis which analyzed and quantified the Wan Anshan landscapepattern index: Farmland is the overall landscape’s matrix, and it’s patch area is themax, and it’s resolution is the minimum; the forest land is a bigger component inoverall landscape, but it’s average patch area is lesser, the ratio of inner is big, thedegree of fragmentation is strong; the village and water’s resolution is big; landscapediversity index and the most landscape diversity index have a big difference,landscape distribution is very uniform. In the forth, the paper put forward existingpractical problems of Wanan Mountain, include: The Wanan Mountain’s internalstructure is chaos, and it is lack of resources, the unreasonable development andhuman disturbance destroy the eco-system of urban; The Wanan Mountain’s greenspace landscape don’t contact with green system with urban, and it don’t playecological benefits with urban; farmland use efficiency is low; Forest structure isunreasonable; it’s lack of vegetation resources; villages scattered distribution. Thispaper optimize Wanan Mountain’s landscape pattern through planning method, the measures include: maintain Wanan Mountain’s natural patch integrity; space control;protect farmland matrix; build network of forest and shelter forest and so on. ImproveWanan Mountain’s ecological environment through vegetation restoration and waterresources management. The fifth, contrast landscape pattern index and ecologicalservice value of Wanan Mountain before and after the optimization, the ecologicalfunction improve significantly after optimization.
