Here, we collected bryophytes specimens of Wudalianchi new-period volcanos (Heilong Mt. and Huoshao Mt.) according to different habitats, classified the species severely, and study the bryophytes diversity. There are some results were got:(1) There are37families,83genera,155species in Wudalianchi new-period volcanos. To Heilong Mt., there are37families,77genera,114species; to Huoshao Mt., there are30families,63genera,103species. It reflects that the diversty of Heilong Mt. is more.(2) There are2Chinese new record species and36Heilongjiang Province new record species. The new records enrich bryophytes flora information of China.(3) To the geographical elements of the two new-period volcanos, the north temperate element is main, Eastern Asia elements is second, other elements are seceral. It reflects this area belongs to semiarid and semihumid zone.(4) To the dominant family and genera, Wudalianchi new-period volcanos and Saihanwula are similar, they are main in drought tolerant species and wide ecological species, and Zhenfeng Mt. are main in another species which are fit for dark and humid habitats. Besides, the similarity (Sc) of Wudalianchi new-period volcanos and Saihanwula exceed the Sc of it and Zhenfeng Mt. They show that Wudalianchi locates between Daxinganling and Xiaoxinganling, Saihanwula locates in the south area of Daxinganling, but Zhenfeng Mt. locates in Changbai Mt. It means that the similar flora results the similar species.(5) The diversity index of Saihanwula is first, Zhenfeng Mt. is second, and Wudalianchi new-period is the last, it reflects that volcanic eruption cause huge damage to ecology and species, and ecological restoration must follow ecological basis law.(6) The species under woods in Wudalianchi new-period volcanos are obviously more than the species which are in different matrixs, because of the dominant species which limits the other species diversity; Bryophytes species in crevice of rock are more than the species on the face of rock and soil, acoording to this, we can find the habitat of crevice is fit for bryophytes, which are more shady, cool and humid; Besides, bryophytes diversity is effected by the micro-habitats, water, lighting, matrix, vegetation and so on, and are closely to vegetation succession.By this study, we get more geography informations of Chinese bryophytes distribution; Add to the study, bryophytes diversity of Chinese volcano; Rveal the relation between the bryophyte species and different habitats; In addition, we study the differences of the two new-period volcanos, and also to provide basic for ecology succession.
