The Qingjiang River Basin belongs to the Yangtze River and is located in the southwest of Hubei Province. It is the transition stage of the second and third steps. The Qingjiang River Basin is rich in biological resources and has high research value, but the study of bryophytes in the area are almost blank,it is only a small amount of research in the marginal mountain area. Therefore, field surveys and indoor analysis methods were used, and the Qingjiang River Basin is taken as the research object to comprehensively study the bryophyte resources in the Qingjiang River Basin to enrich the bryophyte resources in Hubei Province. The results showed that:1.A total of more than 4,000 specimens were collected in the Qingjiang River Basin. After identification and sorting,81 families,213 genera, and 647 species of bryophytes were found, accounting for 83.51%,74.22%,and 67.12% of the bryophyte species in Hubei Province.Among them, moss plants have 48 families,156 genera and 484 species, moss plants have 31 families,55 genera and 160 species, and horny plants have 2 families,2 genera and 3 species.Among them, there are 20 families with dominant families,16 genera with dominant families,17 families with only one family, and 100 genera with only one family. There are 3 families of Hubei new records,18 genera of new records, and 112 Hubei new record species. There are 8species of epiphytic bryophytes and 44 species of medicinal bryophytes in the Qingjiang River Basin, accounting for nearly one-half of Chinese medicinal bryophytes.2.The bryophytes of the Qingjiang River Basin have 13 species of geographical components, mainly is temperate components, followed by East Asian components, and there are many tropical components. The phenomenon is endemic to the Qingjiang River Basin, with 39 species endemic to China.Compared with the bryophytes in the surrounding area,it was found that the similarity coefficients with Daba Mountain in the genera and species were the highest, and the similarity coefficient with Pangquangou in Shanxi was the lowest. The closer the geographic location, the higher the similarity coefficient.3.The Qingjiang River Basin is one of the biological hotspots. In order to further verify this point, the bryophyte differentiation in the Qingjiang River Basin was studied, and it was found that the liverworts differentiation in the watershed was higher than that of moss plants.Compared with other biological hotspots,It was found that the differentiation coefficient of bryophytes in the Qingjiang River Basin is second only to the Altai Mountains in China, which is one of the hotspots in the world. The differentiation level is relatively high, and the Wuyi Mountains are relatively low.4.The elevation drop is largerin Qingjiang River Basin, which is a typical karst landform. Therefore,a variety of habitats have been formed. In addition to the nature reserve in the Qingjiang River Basin, there are a variety of environments suitable for the growth of bryophytes, such as stone forests, valleys, farmland, and forest farms, etc.Through comparison,it is found that bryophytes grow best in the valley, and the species of bryophytes in the farmland is relatively single. The distribution number of bryophytes in each microhabitat in qingjiang river basin is in order: stone habitat >soil habitat > tree habitats> leaf epiphytes. At the same time, there are many bryophytes that can adapt to soil and lithophyte.
