To be sure, that our society is still the now and quite a long period of time, the county is still carrying the national development of the theme of the basic.County economy is named the regional economy with regional characteristics that in the region of county-level overall arrangement and optimization of economic and social resources. In order to further accelerating the development of county economy of Hunan Province, the provincial government, in the next5years, the provincial finance will raise8.1billion yuan, support27counties (city, area) featuring the county economy, that on "Hunan provincial government" on the development of characteristic county economy county.Liuyang city is one of the top100counties nationwide, ranking sixtieth in the evaluation of the development of national county economic competitiveness and scientific in2012of100strong counties. In recent years, Liuyang economic has stability development, but existing many problems.In the context of Hunan Construction "four modernizations two types of social" as well as "the development of county economy characteristic county",the study researched Liuyang County Economic Development. According to the results of SWOT analysis,we found that there are many disadvantages on Liuyang City county economic development, such as high-level talent pool behind the industrial structure is not balanced, solid agricultural foundation is not enough and many other issues. Meanwhile, combined the results of SWOT analysis as well as the current economic situation, it puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to further accelerate Liuyang county economic development, including attention to personnel training, strengthening the foundation for the development of agriculture through industry-driven economic development, these suggestion has a certain reference and reference value for the Liuyang City county economic development.
