As a new developed field of management subject in recent years, engineeringproject management has gradually formed a perfect subject system. Compared withthe traditional divisional management, engineering project management lays emphasison integrity management. The most basic function of it is plan, organization, controland evaluation. For each successful project, we need to confirm the objective whichbecomes so important to the success of project just before it is formally started. In theobjective system of engineering project management, Quality, Schedule and Cost asthe Three Objective are the most important and the key to success. They influence andrestrict with each other so that the project won’t be successful if we pay attention to acertain aspect. So in order to get optimized objective, we need to consider the quality,schedule and cost simultaneously and take effective measures to better coordinate andbalance the Three Objective, so that we could meet the benefit of each party andachieve the success of the project eventually.In recent years, many scholars based on different point of view have useddifferent management ideology and tools to study and explore the theory and practiceof engineering project management. On the basis of theory study result in EngineeringProject Quality Management, Engineering Project Schedule Management andEngineering Project Cost Management of the relevant scholars both in overseas anddomestic, I take an engineering project named X Project in Tianjin Binhai New Areaas study object and do deeply analysis from the quality, schedule and cost anglecombined with the practical problems during the duration of the project and proposethe measures, in order to bring the reference meaning to engineering projectmanagement in our country, by forming a meaningful integrated management systemin the field of engineering project management. |
