Key employees hold the company’s core technology, the innovation ability and rich experience in management. They are the symbol of core competitiveness of enterprise. After losing key employees of enterprise, it is difficult for the enterprise to find a suitable substitute in a short time. Even if the enterprise found the replacement and bore more human cost to adapt the replacement to the original post, it could not keep their work quick and efficient. Therefore, in order to get the edge on the others in the fierce competition, enterprise must attach great importance to key employees, motivate them effectively and efficiently transform their core competencies into productive forces.Based on some of the motivation theory and models, this paper provides an analysis of the motivation situation and existing problems in S company. Finally, to S company, this paper defines the motivation method principles for core employees, analyzes their demand focus, and puts forward the corresponding motivation measures.
