MPA is a newborn thing, which was brought in China formally in 1999.As a kind of high vocational education. MPA differs traditional postgraduate education, its starting point is which facing to public management directly, not the textbook of high school. MPA focuses on case teaching and scene imitation, aiming to train the versatile, practical and specialized public education personnel with high level.With the development of government function reform, MPA degree education has been put forward a higher claim, curriculum provision research play an important role in public management education, having important meaning. The construction of curriculum provision can guarantee the high education quality of MPA and the building of specialized administration management leaders with high-quality; also ensure the training of public administration talents.This thesis starts with the background of this topic, aiming at the current situation research of MPA curriculum provision. It analysis from 4 aspects: general condition, guideline, target and principle. The curriculum provision plays an important role in MPA training.The MPA system is rather stable, becoming more and more mature, having functions for talented training. There exist 4 main problems: the unbalance within the total curriculum; the lack of students' right to choose courses; the leakage of national ideology which makes no sense; the tendency of examining of some curriculum; the lack of practical training of the courses; limitation of the inter-course resources. The possible reasons leading to these problems include: Firstly, the orientation and the purpose of the education graduates are on innovation and adjustment, the target of curriculum is relatively obscure. Secondly, the distribution among the three subjects of curriculum settings is unreasonable. The right of nation is large but that of the institutes and schools is small. Thirdly, the development of curriculum lacks of standards and techniques. Based on the above problems within education graduate curriculum settings, the gross recruitment in graduate studies and the innovation in educational system length of schooling as well, the following suggestions may be adopted. In the principles of meeting the demand of student, majority and society, the curriculum resources should be developed; the idea of curriculum should be updated; the structure should be adjusted; and the standard should be made to choose high-quality courses in order to deepen the curriculum setting innovation.
