South & Production Process Optimization Research

Now, China is a world factory, and the competition is more and more furious, especially the pressure for the OEM company. Because of the competitor is more and more, the price of producers’goods and the labor cost is higher and higher, these companies are facing flinty existing environment. NP corporation is a OEM company producing parts and components for PWC, struggle in the less benefit and more changing market, if NP want to get the chance to develop, NP should enhance the management performance, improve the production capability, producing flexible and quality uniformity. There is a natural selection, the fittest can be survival. In order to get rid of the tough condition and enlarge the develop space.NP has to optimize it’s production process to improve the production stability, effective, market flexible and lower costing production process, and at last NP will get the competency.In this thesis, I’m trying to research the optimization process of production process in NP, using the methods of documentation research, comparison research and case study method. The thesis is consisted by6chapters. Firstly, introduction of the background,purpose and meaning of the thesis. And through a lot of literature retrieval, the author presents a summary of the concept and characteristic of production management and process optimization. Secondly, on the base of literature studying, the author thoroughly analyzed the theory and implementation method of lean production,6sigma quality management, flexible production, and studied the process optimization theory like process re-form and cost-benefit. Thirdly, the author summarized NP’s production management status quo and pointed out current problem.Through the SWOT analysis the author summarized the factor decreasing the competitive capability. Fourthly, by combining the theory and the status quo the author designed the project of production process optimization, and especially reforms the organization flexility and product fluid.
