As the domestic steel industry concentration is low, iron and steel enterprises sprawl,leading to serious excess steel capacity, oversupply of steel products; the same time, domesticsteel prices are highly dependent on imported ore, the international mining giants monopolyposition by virtue of its rising prices of imported ore, the upstream and downstream domesticsteel prices by two-way squeeze, high production costs, profitability has dropped significantly.Extension of the market, reduce costs within the domestic steel prices is key to consider.This paper analyzes the SG Group in the iron ore feed line before the production of rawmaterials inventory system with mining and production planning and implementation of otheraspects of the status and problems. At home and abroad based on the research, the use ofoperations research and project management theory, comparative analysis and other methods,from raw materials inventory management, resource allocation (system optimization withmine) and three levels of production and operation models of iron ore before feeding lineproduction operational management depth, comprehensive analysis.First, the system with the lowest cost mines the objective function to TFe, SiO2, Pb, Znand other chemical ingredients and raw materials inventory of constraints, the establishmentof systems of linear programming model with mine, and according to SG Group productiondata validation solution.Second, the raw material inventory model with inventory cost minimization objective,quantitative models to optimize order management, and production data according to SGGroup was solved verified.Third, production planning and implementing management systems to production costs(raw material costs and processing costs) a minimum of the objective function, to establish alinear programming model and production data according to SG Group was solved verified.Through the establishment of the three models and, based on the actual production of SGGroup, the data generated by the model validation and further optimization in order to achievea reasonable inventory of raw materials, optimizing the allocation of resources to achieve thepurpose of the operation of iron low-cost production.
