| Equipment is crucial for an enterprise to implement production activity and equipmentmaintenance just starts from the production of the equipment. For the steel manufacturingcompany which abides by technological process, equipment runs through the entiremanufacturing processes and goes deep into each operating procedures, which is thefundamental element to realize the functions of each work in steel manufacture.Nowadays, numerous enterprises at home and abroad have already begun to applymanagement of information technology to solve shortcomings existing in equipmentmaintenance and management, for example, the artificiality of maintenance program willresult in equipment’s over-repair or insufficient repair; the blindness in maintenance maybring about that the maintenance work can not be completed timely; and so on. In recent years,China Shao Gang has increased the pace of information construction. China Shao Gang MESsystem, project management system, and economic accounting of group system have been putinto operation in succession, achieving good management and economic benefits. However,management information system of equipment maintenance in China Shao Gang has not beenplanned or constructed yet.This article is based on management of equipment maintenance in China Shao Gang asthe research object, and develops the work according to analyzing actuality—identifyingproblems—proposing planning scheme—analyzing benefit—implementation ofsafeguards as the main idea, as well adopts business system planning approach as theplanning method. Firstly, the actuality is analyzed so as to find out the primal problemsexisting in current management, and deeper reasons are identified by utilizing casual analysismethod. Without equipment maintenance management information system is the mostdeep-seated one of the deeper reasons, which also proposes necessity and urgency of theplanning. Next, utilizing business system planning, the author makes a plan on themanagement information system of equipment maintenance in China Shao Gang, proposesthe overall objective of the information system, and builds the information system’s overallstructure, function model and flow structure. Thirdly, the predictive analysis is launched toinvestigate the effectiveness after the planning is implemented, which proceeds from strategic,social and economic benefits. In terms of economic benefits, the economic benefit model isestablished to analyze various economic indicators, and the results indicate that the planningis feasible and benefit is considerable. Finally, the safeguard measures are raised to guaranteethe successful implementation of the plan. The author gives specific supporting measures from organization, human resources, management, technology and funding to ensure themaximum success of management information system of equipment maintenance in ChinaShao Gang.Through the implementation of this plan, it is more convenient for managers at all levelsto comprehensively grasp the operational status of equipment at any time, scientificmanagement of equipment is better strengthened, and the sudden failure of equipment isreduced. Meanwhile, good condition, uptime and utilization rate is improved, so as to ensurethe stability, smooth working and controllability of production order. |
