Study On Equipment Management In ERP System Of Sinopec Wuhan

China Petrochemical Corporation has established its strategy for the Chinese TwelfthFive Years Plan, which is to build China Petrochemical Corporation to be the worldpetrochemicals company. With the implementation of ERP system, the managementsystem of the company has been gradually matured. But the PM module of the equipmentmanagement in the ERP system is still behind the expectation: it covers very little part ofthe daily equipment management, and the collection of the equipment information andtime of response are both very slow, at the same time the specified data of equipmentmanagement is not enough, and the statistic standards is not unified. Therefore, to improvethe PM Module of the ERP system is a key measure for us to fulfill the informatizationand Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) of equipment management.This thesis analyzed the informatization trend and the system of equipmentmanagement in Wuhan Sinopec, regarding its current situation, the author has made a newdesign for the equipment management business flow, and established the relevant model.It also gives a full illustration of all the modules within this system from the aspects oftheir function and technology. This thesis studies the key technology of the equipmentmanagement system, fully introduced the data standardization, equipment documentsmodular design, NW combination of application development and other key safetytechnologies. Based on the demand of equipment management, this thesis also discussedthe integration of the different modules like: financial, material and engineer in thetransaction of information for the equipment management. The newly developedequipment management system matured the PM module of the ERP system from thefollowing aspects: equipment accounts, equipment files, malfunction notes etc., it alsoadded more specified contents to the equipment management such as: basic managementof the equipment, the on-site equipment management, and professional equipmentmanagement. Those improvements make a full coverage of informatization equipmentmanagement. At the end of the thesis, it illustrates the benefits brought by this study, italso looks for the establishment and application of key performance evaluation systemregarding the quantitative of equipment management.
