To auto manufacturing enterprise, the equipment operation and maintenance in the enterprise production activities is in a pivotal position. Failure of equipment outage maintenance, will lead to huge production losses to the enterprise. Therefore, how to build the good equipment maintenance management system, shorten the response time of equipment maintenance activities and economize on maintenance cost has become an important field of study. In this paper, aim at this situation, combined with the actual production of welding workshop, put forward a unified and effective solution to build a equipment maintenance and management system in the new environment of welding workshop, and do the whole management to the use of the equipment.In the first place, by reviewing the equipment maintenance engineering theory and its development trend in the various stages at home and abroad, the thesis points out a lot of shortage when implementation these theories in the workshop, and analyzes the equipment maintenance and management problems and solutions faced in the welding workshop. In the second place, the author introduces the TPM operation system, and depicts the problems and causes existed in the welding workshop. Then combining with different failure incidence and key points of equipment in the workshop, the paper discusses solutions to various device management problems, constructs a scientific and reasonable maintenance system, which also confirms to the scene requirements. In the last place, the thesis brings in information management system, which achieves the organic combination of scientific and rational management and device information management system.
