Research And Application On Evaluation Of TPL Enterprises’ Core Competence Based On G-ANP Method

Currently, the Third Party Logistic in China are still in the initial stage. Theyhave not developed their core competence yet, and they don’t have competitivestrength. With the entrance of foreign logistic companies, Chinese companiesencounter powerful resistance. How to identify and evaluate the company’s corecompetitiveness effectively under this situation is that the companies concern for.Considering this problem, on the basis of studying large number of articles andanalyzing the traits of characteristics of third-party logistics enterprises in this field,this thesis put forward a set of third-party logistics enterprise’s core competitivenessevaluation index system by using the theory of core competitiveness of enterprisesand value chain. Then, the evaluation method of the third-party logistics enterprise’score competitiveness based on the gray network analysis (G-ANP) is set up, andfinally the model is applied and verified in a certain third-party logistics enterprise.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, the thesis summarizes domestic current research of third-party logisticsenterprise’s core competitiveness evaluation, summarizes the main contents of thisarticle and the overall framework.Then, according to the characteristics of third-party logistics enterprises in China,this thesis identify the factors that affect third-party logistics enterprise’s corecompetitiveness by using the theory of core competitiveness of enterprises and valuechain. Then the evaluation index system of third-party logistics enterprise’s corecompetitiveness is set up based on components which include human resources,innovation, logistics and marketing capabilities, logistics network and servicecapabilities, market power, profitability.And then, considering the problems of complex correlation in evaluation factors,little quantitative analysis, insufficient basic information, combining with the graycharacteristics in the process of evaluation, this thesis provides the G-ANP method onevaluation, and gives the evaluation model of third-party logistics enterprise’s corecompetitiveness, as well as the model’s solving process in detail.Finally, the model is applied in evaluating core competitiveness in a certainthird-party logistics enterprise, and analyzes the evaluation results which provideimportant references for the enterprise’s making decision and management in thefuture. It also verified the feasibility and validity of G-ANP method.
