With the rapid development of modern business, market information is changeable, and the customer needs are very different. Otherwise, the competition is particularly fierce. Under such a situation, BPR came into being, and it quickly became an important theory and practical means. It focuses on the fundamental rethinking and the recycling of the present business process in its own field. So that the resources in the enterprises will be comprehensively integrated to improve the operation effectiveness and performance.Just as any other enterprise, Company M is under some serious pressures, such as the slow motion of the performance, the slow effectiveness, the bloated structure, the fierce competition and so on. So development meets bottleneck, then restricted by these pressures, only change can help, and only recycling the business processes perfectly fit the objective reality. This essay mainly focuses on the analysis of M’s processes through different ways, for example, empirical analysis, literature survey, and questionnaire, integrated with value chain model, it is to find out the processes which needs to be changed. Then, combine the thoughts and the means of BPR to analyze and rebuild to achieve the competitive leap including the costs, the qualities, the speed, and the service.There are6chapters in this essay to elaborate the rebuilding of M’s business processes. Chapter I is Introduction, focusing on the background, meanings, means and the status quo of BPR. Chapter II is theoretical basis. Introducing BPR’s production, development, operating conditions with its problems may mention in its process, to settle the basis. Chapter III is the present analysis. Focusing on the identification and the explanation of the present situation, then to find out the important processes which is not quite great. Chapter IV is the rebuilding of M’core processes. Mainly focusing on the rethinking and rebuilding of the means which needs to be transformed in the previous chapters. Chapter V is the implementation and expected effects of M’s BPR. Which mainly introducing the steps of its implement and the strategies of how to face the music. Otherwise, it predicts and summarizes the effects Chapter VI is a review, which summarizes the achievements. What’s more, it points out the defects and shortcomings of this study, and it points the directions for the future in-depth study and exploration.
