Facing with the dual pressure of increasing fierce competition and soaring up production cost, manufacturers are all trying to improve their production efficiency and product quality so as to effectively enhance their comprehensive competitiveness. Company C as the world’s third-largest switching power supply manufacturer is faced with the dilemma, so have to adopt measure to improve production efficiency and product quality, and reducing producing cost to enhance effectively their comprehensive strength.The best tool of improving efficiency and quality recognized in the world is LSS (Lean Six Sigma). Because of its ability to conduct in-depth analysis of the critical factors of production efficiency and product quality, optimize the production process, improve the production efficiency, reduce cost and improve quality, so that enterprise has the ability to on-time supply its customer with the good quality products at most preferential price to establish and keep long-term stable supply relationships with its customers. Although LSS has such a powerful function, and has long been adopted by some large domestic and abroad manufacturers to improve their manufacturing capacity, but it is rare to see that this management method brought the outstanding effectiveness in the domestic implementation of lean six sigma enterprise. C company draws some experience and lesson leaned from other companies, is successful in implementation of LSS based on its company’s actual situations, and achieves good beneficial result. This chapter is monographic studied based on LSS theory practiced to improve production efficiency and product quality. Hopefully this study conclusion and implementation experience of LSS can bring the new enlightenments and inspiration to other domestic enterprises in improving efficiency and quality.This context includes below five sections:Section one is index, introduces the topic background, research purpose and significance, abroad and domestic research status, research contents and concept, etc.Section two is related theory summarization, introduces theoretical system of Lean production, Six Sigma and LSS, in which intentionally introduces originate and development of the three, comparable analysis and consolidation of Lean production and Six Sigma. Section three mainly introduces the company’s current status, production process and competitive environment analysis; and analyzes in details the necessary and feasibility of launch LSS for company C based on internal and external situation.Section four mainly introduces the fundamental construction before phasing in LSS and LSS practice analysis of the company C.Section five mainly introduces the conclusion of this context and future expectations.
