Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) was originated in the U.S., and has beenfurther developed and improved in Japan. TPM requires enterprises form a unified, orderly, top-down system, andrequires all departments and the broad participation of all employees in every aspectof TMP in order to achieve a "disaster poor and failure" zero occur rate for the entireproduction system, to make it play the greatest efficiency. It is very important toenhance the preventive mechanism, improve the operation and management of theenterprise, save production costs, increase productivity and product quality, andenhance the overall strength and competitiveness.The equipment, mold maintenance process of RA is designed in accordance withthe foreign models, without taking into account the reality of our country, it lead tothe device management system in the actual operation of a lot of problems. It’sreflected in the following aspects. It makes the lack of duplication of the progress andthe less stable product quality for using of domestic equipment of injection moldingmachine; workers’ self-discipline, enthusiasm is not high, increasing the cost ofmaintenance of late; the shortage of reserves of spare parts, and long cycle ofpurchasing of spare parts, increase the waiting time of the equipment; equipmentmaintenance personnel has a large turnover and lack of experience. These issues onthe company’s normal production and using of equipment to produce a very badinfluence, so that the company’s operating costs increased.First, the paper analysis and research on TPM theory, and on the basis ofintegrating TPM device management in theory and practice applications, analyzes theTPM operational system in the overall planning of the TPM implementation ideas: following5s activities, and through the promotion of proposals self-preservation andmaximizing the benefits of activities to improve to promote the implementation of theTPM. Second, the status quo of RA equipment management and equipmentmanagement system are introduced in the article. Finally, to build a TPM system inRA is discussed.
