| Performance appraisal plays an important role in human resource management, draws attentions from all walks of life. To establish an effective performance appraisal system is very important to stimulate employee enthusiasm, and results of operations, promote the development of the company.Some literatures on performance appraisal were reviewed in the paper. S automobile service company was taken as an example. The status quo of the company and the current performance appraisal program were analyzed. The acceptance of the employees of the company’s performance appraisal, as a key content, was focused in all-round and multi-angle. The different employee background variables on cognitive performance appraisal were explained, as well as the employees’cognition on the company’s performance appraisal. At last, countermeasures were given. In the course of the study, questionnaires, interviews and other data collection were used. SPSS software for data processing and correlation was adopted, as well as empirical analysis and single factor analysis of variance.The main conclusions were concluded in the paper. Good performance appraisal system would be conducive to the company’s strategic goals. Higher degree of satisfaction of the majority of employees on company performance appraisal could be reach conclusion, and the appraisal was objective, effective. The influence of employee’s gender, age, education, and other factors on performance appraisal of the differences were not significant. The feedback on the results of performance appraisal should be managed. Performance appraisal reflected in employees’sense of belonging was more important for the automotive service industry. |
