The paper which is based on the the protocol of MIL-STD-188-141B, focuses on the key technologies about physical layer’s burst waveforms.The emphases of the paper are how to demodulate types of burst waveforms in the disturb lying in shortwave channels.The paper designs the schemes of burst waveforms according to the condition of shortwave channel and the existing DSP hardware system. The schemes are as follows: using the tamed spread spectrum technique and 8-ary PSK technique,error control scheme include convolutional coding and interleaving technique ,the capture difficulty in the head of message random code under the condition of low SNR and big frequency offset is solved using the method of sliding correlation-FFT;Conic fitting is introduced to improve the precision of frequency-offset estimation; Using sliding correlation technique, the scheme solves he problem of symbol synchronization; Using the Rake receiver to decode the received spread sprectrum sequence, which solves the effect on the transmission of multipath fading. Hard-decision Viterbi decoder is adopted to recover the source information.These burst waveforms are simulated with MATLAB, The result is accorded with the requirement in the standard basically.And then the send and receive schemes are implemented on the TMS320C5509 DSP hardware platform...
