It has guided the new direction after the emergence of Fieldbus technology. TheDistribution Control System(DCS)’s leading role is being replaced by Fieldbus ControlSystem(FCS), which has outstanding advantages.CAN field bus, which is one of the FCS standards, is aroused huge research interests bypeople because it has advantages in high reliability and low price. Through a large number ofresearches, CAN field bus is used wideiy in more and more fields.SHCAN2000Field Bus Control System absorbs the features of CAN Field Bus networkstructure. Otherwise, the intelligent measurement and control components of SHCAN2000Field Bus Control System also absorb the technology advantage of the Programmable LogicController(PLC). Above two characteristics, they make SHCAN2000Field Bus ControlSystem with a strong control function and also has high reliability and economy.This paper analyses the production process flow and requirtment for production controlof the CS-50catalyst, through comparison with the current several popular schemes andvarious factors, the production control scheme, which is based on CAN Field Bus, is proposed.The paper introduces the technology features of SHCAN2000system, deeply describes thehardware and software design of CS-50catalyst production control system, brieflyintroduces the simulator debug in lab and operating conditions after the system is put intoproduction. Finally, this paper deeply introduced the application of Emergency ShutdownDevice(ESD) in CS-50catalyst production control system.Since this CS-50catalyst production control system is brought into production, it workedstabilized, the products are surely of quality standard. Form production to now, the systemworked in good conditions, the quality of equirtment is stood the test of time. This devicevastly increases the automation level of the CS-50catalyst production, greatly improves thequality of product. And this system decreases energy consumption, reduced the unnecessarywaste. Meantime, it improves the work conditions, and makes this system a good applicationprospect and widely promotional value.
