The software and hardware system of computer develop and update continually,including bank computer system. In mid 1990s, the major banks of China started to use computer System to manage bank accounts data instead of handword. From now no, the hardware and software of bank computer system update continually.In the process of bank computer system updating and upgrading, we will inevitably encounter the problem of data migration. Especially in the update and upgrade of bank software system, we always need to derive the old system data to a new system. While the process of data migration,we need to focus on the design of accuracy and timeliness.Meanwhile, in the process of updating and upgrading, the bank computer system is often in a state of is unavailable as we need to reinstall and upgrade computer system software. That is our bank computer system need to close down in the process of updating and upgrading,which will affect the external service of bank.On the one hand, along with high-speed economic development of our country, the bank's external service and internal accounting and management has largely rely on the bank computer system. On the other hand, our country's normal economic activity also has serious dependent on properly operate of bank business. From the above, the normal operation of bank computer system make great effect to the whole economic activity for our country. So in the update and upgrade of bank software system,we need to pay more attention to the process of data handling of migration and the system close down.According to long-term experience, the author make a investigation to the strategy of bank computer system's data migration and system shutdown in the process of updating and upgrading, and puts forward some design ideas. Mainly includes:1, The preparation before data migrationIt mainly discusses the preparation before data migration, in order to ensure the successful of application system's new version putting into operation and data migration. Including how to design the system reasonably to reduce and avoid data migration, and in view of the external data transition (the source data of transition is outside current system),we must advance to do data checking and data correction processing.2, the specific design method of data migrationThe author mainly discusses some specific design ideas and method of data migration. Including the design of external data migration,the achievement to migration beforehand and migration online, performance design of migration, the output design of migration, and some special considerations such as rollback of migration and design of repaire measure in view of bank computer system.3, The design of system shutdownIt mainly discusses in two aspects:1) The design of system downtime window's compressionIn order to reduce the influence of system shutdown, we need to compress the time of system shutdown and compress the operation during downtime. This paper analyzed two key factors affect downtime:the operation of delete and recreate big tabele,the operation of program bind.This paper advise the scheme to move the operation outside the downtime for reduse the operation inner the downtime.2) The design of continuity service in downtime windowIn the process of bank computer system's updating and upgrading, when we inevitably need do shutdown process and downtime is long, how can we adopt an alternative way to ensure continuity service of bank computer system, and ensure continuous business operations of extrenal Banks. This pager maintain to use a little system instead of main system for basic business.4, The summary of this paper's design idea and the prospect of this research topicAs mentioned previously, the stability and usability of bank computer system is very important to our country's normal economic activity. On the other hand, the bank computer system's software is impossible not to do any updating and upgrading in a long time. Especially in economic activities have become increasingly frequent, various types of financial derivatives innovative case, the bank's computer system need to do continuously updating and upgrading with business need's change. So in the process of bank computer system's update and upgrade, for possible data transition and system shutdown, how should we carries on the reasonable design to ensure that bank computer system do not affected or less affected and, to some extent, is very important significance.On the one hand, we should pass throught reasonable design to make the bank data quickly migration during the length of time a window while updating and upgrading; On the other hand, we also need to pass throught some design method to make the service continuity and Banks of computer system availability in the downtime window. This is the key and difficult point in this paper. This paper based on the author's experience puts forward some effective design idea and method. We also believe that, in addition to these idea and method, we'll also have other more outstanding, better way of solving problems and methods which we need constant research and ceaseless pursuit.
