Media scholar Marshall McLuhan made the point of "the medium is the message"in1964,and today increasingly far-reaching impact of new media in modern society.Firstly, the paper introduces the concept of media and mobile media, and combed mobilemedia spread function changes at different times. Secondly, based on the development ofcomputer and Internet technology, the paper elaborated mobile media in2G,3G, theevolution of the communications function in the4G era, and these powerful mobilemedia dissemination functions brought a huge impact to the community and people’slives. Finally, the voice calls from mobile media tools into the mass media bring positiveand negative impacts.The paper introduces the concept of mobile media, characteristics of mobile mediaand the difference of the fifth media, and then introduced the2G era of mobilemedia-based voice communication and SMS communication interpersonalcommunication functions, detailed description of the mobile phone voice transmissionexcellent disadvantage, the spread of mobile phone text messages classification,characteristics and advantages and disadvantages; multimedia communicationcapabilities of the3G era of mobile media, mobile newspaper, mobile TV, and new socialmedia such as microblogging, micro-channel-based analysis of mobile media at majorpublic events play a role; difference between4G and3G and4G era of mobile mediadissemination functions strengthened. Last on the popularity of mobile mediadissemination of the positive and negative impacts and response, and the revelation givento better play mobile media of mass communication.The paper, using a chronological analysis content analysis, in addition to theauthoritative data of the reference to the relevant research institutions, the study alsofocused on text analysis, mobile media profound analysis of specific events play differentroles at different times, and on this basis, measures to address the reality and accuracy.
