With the growth of socio-economy and the development of inland water transportation, the cargo go through the Three Gorges ship lock keep increasing rapidly. For lack of the informationalized ship check office system, now the ship check operating mode in the Three Gorges ship lock can not fit the need well, the checking efficiency is low, and the pertinence of checking items is not enough, these indicate that the security of the Three Gorges ship lock is not in the guarantees very well. What’s more, in traditional ship check operating mode, the way of recording checking results were mainly by written, it can not fully take down the practical details. In order to improve the work efficiency of ship checking in the Three Gorges ship lockage security, in this paper, network communication technology and computer technology were applied in, and a remote mobile office system based on C/S mode is constructed, to ensure the communication between the ship check working site and the information center. Meanwhile, the hand-held terminal can record the check result through the multimedia way, to expand the information content of the record.Based on fully field investigation, in this article, the current ship check operating mode in the Three Gorges ship lock was analyzed, and then a Three Gorges ship check office system based on android was constructed. The system’s main functions conclude ship reporting at the anchor, check task allocating, ship information querying, check result recording and result uploading.The main research contents of this article include the following points:Firstly, confirm the functional requirements and technical requirements of the Three Gorges ship check office system, and design the overall structure framework of the system. And then, re-designed the ship check operating mode based on the android hand-held terminal.Secondly, the operating principle of the Three Gorges ship check office system was explained. The ship check office system introduced in this paper was based on C/S mode. The Web Server adopt apache tomcat as the servlet container, and its develop IDE is myeclipse. The IDE for android hand-held terminal software is eclipse with ADT plugins. The database server used in this article is MS SQL Server2005, twelve tables were designed to support the functions of this office system such as login the system, report at the anchor, query the ship information, record and upload the check result.Thirdly, the key technologies encountered in the development of Android hand-held terminal were researched, including how to design user interface, how to quote camera module in Android, data transmission and store the data in Android.Finally, according to the black-box testing theoretical method, the software test cases was designed to test and analyze the reliability of the office system. The test results showed that the system enables the ship check relating data transmitted between the server and the terminal.Through this study, a remote mobile office system was designed for the Three Gorges ship lock check. This systems enables the information sharing between the ship check working site and the information center, improved the efficiency of ship check in the Three Gorges ship lock.
