This article takes Min Yi magazine as the research object. The magazine was founded inMay1916, issued a total of three phase. Although there was a very short time, but it was theorgan of the Association of Chinese Students Studying in Japan. It played an important role topromote the political ideas and thoughts of Japan students, and showed their authoritarianwhich against Yuan Shikai. At the same time this magazine also played a key role in call onRepublican and support for democracy. In addition, Min Yi magazine also gave the attentionto the socio-economic situation, the development of education, social status etc. This papersorted out the magazine’s political thought, economic reforming, moral education and thesocial investigation detailed. The purpose of this magazine was to uphold justice, flourishingacademic, instilling Modern civilization, enhancing the Republic welfare, and to explore statesystem, review the current situation. Treating the Revolution of1911failed as a warning toagainst Yuan Shikai dictatorship and opposed the reconciliation of the new character of therevolution and the old bureaucratic. Throughout the study of this magazine, we not onlyunderstanding itself clearly, but also can recognize political situation in that time, andunderstanding the patriotic ideas of Chinese revolutionaries in Japan. As the domesticsituation become more and more tense, Li Dazhao and other leaders of the Chinese studentsstudying in Japan had been returning home and joined a new public opinion front, themagazine was ended published in1917.
