Chang Chien shares "Shun Pao" from1912to1915when he and "Shun Pao" form the mostdirect relationship. This paper, which is set in the objective historical background of late Qinggovernment and systematically discusses the interactive relationships between Chang Chien and"Shun Pao" is for purpose of presenting the history of the complex and diverse society. Viaanalyzing the change of Chang Chien· political identity and political orientation and investigatingthe number of articles, content, layout, font size issued by Chang Chien in "Shun Pao",we are aimat to probe into Chang Chien as a political figure who is inextricably linked with Yuan, SunYat-sen by means of "Shun Pao" as the news media powerhouse. On this count, Chang Chien·little-known side of political circle and press in this early Republican is presented to the world.The first chapter shows status background of the five partners led by Chang Chien. Itreassures many facts about the source of funds and the whereabouts staked "Shun Pao" by ChangChien via analyzing and proofing the historical data. By doing this, we can prove that ChangChien shares "Shun Pao" and it is part of official nature.The second chapter introduces Shun Pao caseμ through searching and sorting a series ofhistorical data. We think of the cause and outcome of the lawsuit as the entry point before, whichstarted from Shi Liangcai·s and Xi Zipei·s heart activity.
