"Music Education of Primary and Middle schools Magazine " is sponsored by the Zhejiang Sheng Wenlian executive and Zhejiang Musicians Association, it is a magazine issued in the domestic and foreign countries. In 1982, Mr. Zhou Dafeng reshaped the original "Zhejiang Music" into "Music Education of Primary and Middle Schools Magazine ". After three copies, it was officially released in July,1983. The magazine has been run for 30 anniversary, publishing nearly 280 issues, the current monthly circulation of over twenty thousand copies, which is at the forefront of similar publications. Since the founding of new China, it is one of the earliest magazines with extensive influence. It provides the specialized services of professional periodicals for primary and middle school music education. The concept for running the journal magazine is "-oriented national music teachers, music classroom teaching service" purposes and "keeping pace with the times, innovation". With accurate positioning and high taste, the magazine has great effect on the elementary and middle schools music teachers." The publication of the magazine echoes the recovery period of elementary and middle schools music education in our country. As a result, there exits a close relationship between the two. This paper will take the "primary and secondary school music education" magazine as the research object, studying from the following five parts.The first chapter introduces the background and aim of the journal, focusing on the music education background of the magazine, different period of development and the aim of the journal publications; the second chapter aims at editor team and author groups, including the magazine team-editors, authors and so on; the third chapter talks about columns change and publishing features, mainly from the column, the column with the analysis of the characteristics of change. The author will combine them with the cover and form of the magazine to discuss its running characteristics; The fourth chapter combines several key problems in the reform to analyze the text research and the magazine content on the basis of the overall grasp survey of music education reform in primary and middle schools in the last 30 years; The fifth chapter evaluates the historical value of the magazine in the process of music education reform in primary and secondary. Furthermore, the author will studying into some problems that need more attention in future development on the basis of actual situation.
