Car driving simulator is a simulation of three dimensional virtual environment and actual driving system, which has help for improving of driver’s driving skills, addinf driving experience and promoting traffic safety, this system has a broad application prospects for the characteristics of being great role in energy-saving, safe, efficient, and free.Collision detection and scene rendering is an important part of automobile driving simulation system, main role of the former is to detect the collisions detection between movement body with the model object and take occurrence response after the detection, the rest is mainly used to generate a virtual scene, to simulate the driver’s vision. Immediacy, interactivity and immersion are the key performance indicators of driving simulation system. Therefore, there is a great significance for the study of automobile driving simulation system, enhancing real-time collision detection accuracy and fidelity of Visual rendering.According to the needs and requirements of the subject, this paper was focus its research on real-time collision detection and multi-channel Visual generation rendering context, through researching,andanalysing, this article has done the following work:First, this paper studied the existing classic collision detection algorithm, analysid and comparied the differents, advantages, disadvantages, and limitations in automobile driving simulation of collision detection algorithms. Laid the foundation for the research and implementation of Collision Detection Based on Projection Point.Second, this paper has taken a collision detection algorithm based on projection, effectively improved real-time collision detection and accuracy by reducing the amount calculated data.Again, this paper took based on multi-channel Visual generation rendering of OSG scene graph, increasing the fidelity of Visual simulation and sense of immersion by6-channel design. Finally, this paper combined with Visual build enables collision detection, improved the sense of realism and immersion of driver.Experimental results show that:the collision detection algorithm based on projective point is good at automobile driving simulation system, which accored to the attribute of scenes set up, effectivily used the existing data, reduces duplication of calculations, and enhances efficiency. The6-channel design of scene simulation, gives drivers a multi-angle scene observations, effectively raising the degree of the automobile driving simulation system.
