Virtual reality technology, as an emerging discipline, has wide application prospect and attracts more and more public concern. Immersion, interaction, and imagination are three main characteristics of a virtual reality system. However, if the user can't interact naturally with the virtual environment in real time, there would be no realization of these characteristics. Therefore, the research of real-time interactive technology plays an important role in promoting the development of virtual reality technology.This thesis researched the key interaction technologies in virtual reality, combined with the development of "Logistics Center Warehouse Virtual Simulation System" and "Truck Crane Driving Simulator", according to the technique roadmap of theory and design to application and realization.This thesis used three-dimensional graphics engine OpenSceneGraph (OSG) as the real-time visual simulation and rendering tool. Firstly, some studies on relevant technologies of OSG were done. This thesis also introduced several kinds of interactive peripheral devices and programming methods based on their API. The interactive technology was researched in two aspects:motion control of the scene objects and the interactive control of the camera viewport. The movement of objects in virtual scene should be consistent with the actual physical laws as much as possible. This thesis described the motion control method of rigid body; explored the interactive technology on 3D button menu; developed a control method for game role based on animation model; introduced physics engine to realize real-time simulation control, in allusion to the complexity of motion control for flexible objects. A good control mechanism of camera viewport, not only can facilitate the roaming observation in virtual environment, but also can enhance the immersion of virtual reality system. This thesis started with analyzing 3D graphics display principle and OSG camera control mechanism; then explored camera switching mechanism with smooth transition effects based on animation camera; developed elastic camera control mechanism with physical property. Finally, this thesis elaborated the application of interactive control technology in "Logistics Center Warehouse Simulation System" and "Truck Crane Driving Simulator", as well as analyzing the access of peripheral interactive devices in depth.
