In recent years, video services,IPTV as a representative, has get more and more attention of telecom operators. Mobile terminal video services change our lifestyles and become populism. User experience of video is crucial to video content providers. However, video transmission mechanism is complex and is sensitive to network status, video coding method as well as terminal parameters. Therefore, how to establish video quality evaluation system not only considering the influence of all objective factors but also reflecting user experience has become an important subject. For telecom operators, such a system can improve their operation and maintenance level as well as quality of service. To date, standardization organizations at home and abroad have formulated a series of video quality evaluation standards. Researches on this field have also become heated topic. This paper get the relationship between objective parameter and objective experience based on video quality subjective mapping method. Then, we establish mobile video quality evaluation system based on QoE rating considering indicators in coding, transmission and observation stages. Subjective and objective mapping strategies such as MPQM method, graded method have been used. Subjective experiment is also conducted recording observers’ evaluation as well as objective indicators’ values. We aim at reflect user experience through acquiring objective indicators and provide reference to actual video services platform’s planning and construction. This paper firstly introduces related technical background about video quality assessment. Then, the evaluation system is introduced as well as how parameter in the system is derived. Finally, video quality subjective mapping strategy detailed introduced, including its principle, steps, typical mapping methods, set up of experiment environment, result analysis). By replacing the model with real indicator, user experience about the specific video service can be calculated out. Thus, the value can reflect user experience of the video service and provide reference to the operation and implementation of real video service. |
