Research And Implementation Of The Performance Assessment System For Mobile Internet Video Service

With the arrive of the mobile internet era,various of mobile devices and mobile apps are developing rapidly.Video service are immigrating to mobile network with the speed more than ever,and the mature technique of 4G and Wi-Fi make this happen naturally.The performance of video service is always the key researching point which directly relates to the experience of the users when they are watching videos.Further more,the mobile internet video service has lots of difference between tradition video service.For example,the network status and the capability of the device.So they should be counted in when evaluating the performance of mobile video services.The research subject of this paper is mobile network video service,thus most of the works are done under the mobile platform environment.The feature of the mobile network service differs from traditional service,the hardware has lower performance,the network has lower stability,the video resources are more complicated,so in the research these factors must be considered.Further more,mobile network video service is more friendly to people in mobile network era,so the selection of the parameters and the construction of the model must be done when user experience is counted as key point in the first place.Firstly,this paper makes an investigation of the current works around video performance assessment,and analyze the difference between mobile subjective video service quality and objective video service quality,in this paper,we use subjective assessment method.Secondly,after analyzing the whole process mobile video service,we can confirm some key parameters that affect video service quality.The application layer parameters are connected directly to the user experience,so they must be considered as key point when we build the assessment model.Thirdly,make a research about the measurement of the parameters which are used to design the assessment system.Lastly,after implementing the system,experiments are carried to gather the data from which a assessment model is made and implemented into the system.
