With the rapid development of the digital manufacturing information technology, itwill inevitably request that the manufacturing technology of enterprises have developed,in order to realize the CAD/CAE/CAPP/CAM integration. In the basis of the original2D-CAPP, how to realize3D-CAPP technology has become one of the urgent problemsrequired by many enterprises.In view of the present most of the commercial CAPP system, it still runs on thetwo dimensional platform. Because of the many problems of the2D-CAD system, itaffects the efficiency and development of enterprises. Under the circumstances, thispaper puts forward based on full three dimensional model of CAPP system.In the basis of analysis and research of the current CAPP, the overall structure ofbased on the full three dimensional model of CAPP system (the three dimensionalCAPP system) is proposed, and a detailed design scheme to build up various functionalmodules is also presented. Then process design and data management aboutimplementing are analyzed. And the process and manufacturing lead to design. Thethree dimensional CAPP system is basically realized. The main research work includesfollowing several:1) The overall structure of based on the full three dimensional model of CAPPsystem and a detailed design scheme of building up various functionalmodules are proposed.2) The construct system to realize the system of three dimensional CAPP areresearched specially, which are the research of part feature recognition andextraction, the research of three dimensional parametric processes modelingand the research of database technology about three dimensional CAPPsystem.3) In this paper, with the use of Pro/TOOLKIT and MFC class library of VisualStudio, application of user’s interface of CAPP system is developed. Moreover, the task to design three dimensional model of process parts, to pickup the size of geometry information and non geometry information and todrive based on MBD model parameterization is also completed.4) The purpose of put forward the integration of CAPP and Windchill is toguarantee the consistency of the process knowledge and to ensure that datainformation is not lost. Making full use of the workflow management functionof Windchill is to achieve the review, publication and management of theprocess documents.The instance proves that the research is practical and feasible, and based on the fullthree dimensional model of CAPP system which has been developed, is easy to operateand has very high value for practice and extension. |
