As the industry is developing fast nowadays, all kinds of merchandise need to have their labels printed for recognition. Therefore, a variety of ink jet printers and marking machines have emerged in response to the service environment and operating features. The requirements for the designs of ink jet printers differ from one another due to the various requirements of the service environment and costs of usage. The ink jet printer in this thesis is designed in aspects of nozzle, ink supply, control, high temperature prevention, with the requirement of use at around400℃. It pushes the limit of traditional ink yet printer to ink quality. It has few requirements for the quality of ink, and cheap ink even ink with poor quality could be usable, without any concern about ink plugging.The major topic of this thesis is the principle of the ink jet printer with the working mode of dropping on demand, based on which a series of systematical design scheme are put forward. Test research has been done beforehand. The main idea is as follows:Ⅰ.The design of the nozzle, the core component of the ink jet system. Nozzle is the final completing unit of ink jet and all the work in the system centre on the operation of the nozzle. Therefore the design of the nozzle is of great significance. In this thesis, the research and design are carried out with the combination of kinds of anti-plugging measures. The ultimate objective is to meet the design requirements that are to prevent nozzle plugging, to reduce the dependence of nozzles on ink quality.Ⅱ.Take the construction of the nozzles and work efficiency into account, and choose and design the solenoid valve and the driving circuit in order to meet the need of high speed operation.Ⅲ.According to the requirements of the nozzle construction, pressure and anti-plugging, the structure of ink supply hydraulic circuit ink supply is analyzed and designed, in order to achieve the continuous circular flow and the pressure of stable ink supply.Ⅳ.51monolithic is adopted as the controller of the control system which is connected with the principal computer with serial communication. This is a combination of the51monolithic that is of low cost and sufficient control ability, and the principal computer that is rich in resources and capable of processing.Ⅴ.Research on the algorithm of the control programme will be carried out and the control and window procedure with efficient control of ink jet will be written.Ⅵ. The function range of application of ink is improved due to the design of the structure of the actuating element.In conclusion, since multiple anti-plugging measures are taken, the requirement of ink quality is much less strict and the material cost is greatly reduced. Besides, it could be used in high temperature and dust, and the stability and reliability of the system is remarkably improved.
