The Chinese literary and art media criticism began in the90s of the twentieth century,which is a new style of literary and art criticism in the media age. People pay more and moreattention on it because its new form and new content are different from that of traditionalliterary criticism.The article mainly focuses on discussing the Chinese literary and art mediacriticism from new points of view: Firstly, the commentator classifies their categories so thatwe can more fully understand Chinese literary and literary media criticism; secondly, Chinesemedia criticism is the unity of opposites of literary and art criticism, and popular culture.This article includes the following parts: an introduction to the text, part one, part two, partthree, part four and epilogue part.The introduction is devoted to the topic of reason, summary of the domestic research situationof media criticism of literature and art in China, illustrates the subject of the topic idea andresearch perspectives, research methods, expected value.The first part combs the concept of Chinese literary and art media criticism.Chineseliterary and art media criticism has double statuses: on one hand, Chinese literary and artmedia criticism is the unique style of literary criticism. On another hand,Chinese literary and art mediacriticism is popular culture. This part also classifies Chinese media criticism from a multipleperspective category.The second part focuses on why the Chinese literary and art media criticism springsup,and the reasons include cultural mechanism, communication mechanism and motivationmechanism.The third part primarily analyses general characteristics of Chinese literary and art mediacriticism, that is, commercial, technical, civilians, and the dialectical relationship betweenthem.The fourth part is the core part of this article which focuses on the Chinese literary andart media criticism and popular of the unity of opposites. The new style of Chinese literatureand art media criticism is both the literary criticism of the media age, but it is also an important part of the popular culture.
