| With the rapid development of the IP technology and with the integration of the three networks(the computer network, telephone network and television network),the digital TV front-end system is getting into comprehensive services, multifunctional and high-capacity.The new generation of digital television multiplexing equipment integrates program scrambling, analysis, scheduling, processing, protection and other functions, greatly increasing the processing of digital television transmission efficiency.According to the current domestic and foreign digital television front-end system development,this thesis emphasized on the using the IP technology to construct the digital TV front-end system platform.The IP digital television platform not only has the traditional digital TV’s basic function, but also provides television a variety of functions such as broadcast, data broadcast, TV, NVOD, Widget,VOD etc.By using of IP technology, Changzhou digital television front-end system platform greatly reduce the inter-system connections. The platform also enhances the system scalability and flexibility, and brings the system reliability improvement. The whole system is simple in construction and maintenance, and the technology and cost has prominent advantages than the early DTV front-end system.The front-end DTV platform in Changzhou carry most TV signals encapsulated by IP multicast packets.It can transmits the video to the remote area’s branch DTV front-end platform based on IP multicast technique,thus the Cable Television of Changzhou and it’s counties reach a unified services and content.This DTV front-end platform greatly reduces the cost of investment and gains economic benefits.The platform will lay a good foundation in Changzhou’s future broadcast and Television. |
