Study On The Textual Style Of Chinese National Geography

This dissertation focuses on study of the textual style of Chinese NationalGeography by imported the theoretical perspective of science communication. The studyaiming at examining how the CNG using some communication skills, to shift geographyscience content to the mass communication content which the audience prefer to read asa science communication media, to realize their effect.Chapter Ⅰ is the exordium, introduced the development of Chinese popular sciencemagazines’ condition in the new media environment firstly. Secondly, point out theinsufficiency of the existing research of CNG by a literature review.Chapter Ⅱ is discussing the revise of CNG under the science communicationbackground. And try to introduce the logical proofs and practice consciousness on CNG.Chapter Ⅲ is studying the CNG’s natural hazard coverage by Content analysismethod firstly. And then, the research uses a contrast case analysis between CNG andHuaxia National Geographic about the2008Sichuan earthquake feature to examining thetextual style.Chapter Ⅳ is analyzing the CNG’s natural landscape features. Discussing the textshift issue, which from geography and geology research findings to the masscommunication contents.Chapter Ⅴ is the conclusion which generalized the presentation of CNG’s textual stylebase on the two features textual analysis. And then explore CNG’s sciencecommunication issues.
