Geographic Magazine In The Ecological Environment Is Reported

With the rise of global environmental problems, the development of public environment movements and the boost of public environment consciousness, eco-environmental reporting has become one of the focuses in the world media. At present, the media on eco-environmental reporting can be generally divided into two kinds: domestic comprehensive media and specialized media. The thesis, based on the theory of geography of media, has taken Chinese National Geography(CNG) for content analysis to analyze the eco-environmental reportmg from the perspective of ecological environment, modern civilization and human being's life style, in order to discuss the relations between media and geography, environment and human beings.The thesis, by using the methods of content analysis coupled with case study, consists of five chapters. The first chapter summarizes previous research findings on eco-environmental reporting and introduced the paper's research purpose. The second chapter analyzes the eco-environmental reporting of CNG from five indices. The third chapter analyzes the environmental reporting system of CNG The fourth chapter is a summary based on the analysis of the previous two chapters and the last chapter proposes further thoughts on the eco-environmental reporting in Chinese media and on the relations between human beings and nature.
