With the rapid development of mobile Internet technology, embedded technology and the LED industry, ZigBee technology, as a new wireless communication technology, has gained strong support from them. The superiority of the communication mechanism of its own, such as low cost, low energy consumption, low rate, high safety performance, make the ZigBee technology fully display its own skills in industrial automation, automotive electronics, home automation and many other fields.At present, the arrangment of wire in the building have many shorts, such as cumbersome, poor scalability, single function, high management cost, seriously energy dissipation and many other defects. The traditional lighting system has been hard to meet the demand of modern building management, so the lighting demands for building networking, intelligent control and energy saving are more and more high. Putting a variety of lighting fixtures, security alarm devices into integration on a control platform to realize intelligent control and management is very important to reduce operation cost. The LED intelligent lighting control system researched in this paper is a building intelligent lighting control system, and it has been becoming more and more popular in this industry. In the construction of LED intelligent lighting control system, there’re still existing several questions:1) Lighting control nodes in the ZigBee network in buildings are powered by batteries, what routing algorithm should be applied to balance each node’s energy;2) If there is node energy warning, how to maintain the normal operation of the network; 3) How to switch the lighting node;4) How to manage the information collected by nodes on computer;Aiming at the above problems, this paper analysis of the needed hardware and software,then designs each module to measure it. The hardware of the control system mainly includes:RF transceiver module, coordinator module, router module, end-device module, GSM module and LED driving module. The independently developed control software is "ZigBeeSerial School of Electronic and Information of NUIST LED intelligent lighting control system". The RF control module with ZigBeeCC2530as the main chip, transmit information collected by end-device to the coordinator, which is connected with computer through RS232serial. Control software can real-timely display information of each node. The computer can select automatic or manual mode to control each node, in addition, in manual mode, it can realize remote control through the GSM module. This system could effectively reduce the cost of management in operation, save human resources and save resources in the power supply.
