Currently, railway is facing a new round of construction high tide. In new period, Railway construction shows its remarkable characteristics of large engineering scale, high technical standards, and fast construction speed. But as an important part of railway construction projects, the project management informatization of after the railway station relatively lags behind, which may affect implementation of after construction project and the operation of the railway. Therefore the research on Electrification Railway Construction Project Management Information System has important theoretical significance and practical value, which is also urgent to railway electrification construction. The paper uses Xiang-gui railway station after construction project as the pilot to complete the study.First,the paper introduces the present situation and trend of electrified railway construction. Baized on the theory of construction project management system as well as management information system features, the paper analyzes the situation of the application of project management software and the shortcomings in railway electrification construction projects. Describes the natural features of the works in the Xiang-Gui railway station, construction conditions and specializes in the number of major projects, engineering characteristics, heavy and difficult analysis, and proposed countermeasures.In view of the specialty of the station after construction, the design and level of the work breakdown structure (WBS) and personnel breakdown structure (OBS) on the railway station projects in the new line construction project is researched in the paper. For the mixed relationship of project management areas, the paper also researches the combination of several common management such as scope management, time management, cost management, and quality management. And in the paper, the ERCPMIS construction plan is presented, which is baized on geographical information platform, data acquisition systems, integrated information query system and office management platform.Combined with the latest concept of project management knowledge and dynamic control theory, the paper also studies the design and implementation of ERCPMIS. At last, the paper discourses that the research and development of engineering information system can effectively increase the engineering quality, safety, cost, time limit control and can also help to achieve construction target successfully.
