The Design And Implement Of Converged Communication Service Client

With the development of information communication technology, telecoms operators’core value is changing from traditional communication services to value-added services. In the process of deploring new services, telecoms operators need to firmly grasp the advantages of high quality network operation and real-time multimedia communication services to meet the demand under the environment of telecommunication network integrated with mobile Internet.IMS is the best carrier to supply converged communication services in the environment of network convergence. It is based on IP technology and SIP protocol and has nothing to do with access type. IMS’s properties of creditable, controllable, executable and administrable supply the technology foundation for converged communication services.In such a situation, this paper aims at designing and implementing a converged communication service client, including a basic service library for converged communication and an Android terminal. The basic service library supply media control and signal control interfaces. Signaling control interfaces supply HTTP/HTTPS signaling protocol stacks to create,modify,stop sessions. Media control interfaces supply audio/video codec and RTP/RTCP protocol support, media communications and operations functions.Terminals use the interfaces supplied by the basic library, and uses the web interfaces supplied by the Converged Communication Controller, and then obtains the service capacity of IMS telecommunication network, and makes it success to communicate, present buddy list,sent or receive instant/short messages.
