The Research And Implementation Of Flexible Workflow

The appearance of workflow greatly accelerated the pace of the construction of enterprise information, meets the needs of the enterprise office automation partly, improved employee work efficiency and also enhanced the competitiveness of enterprises. With workflow, we can quickly customize the process that the enterprise needs, rapidly build enterprise’s information system. However, in the current increasingly fierce market competition, the needs of enterprise are changing more and more quickly. Although traditional workflow can rapidly build enterprise’s information system, there are still many deficiencies in responding the rapidly changing needs of enterprise. Therefore, flexible workflow emerges as the times require. Flexible workflow can quickly make a change to adjusting changing workflow without redefining workflow model in certain circumstances of workflow’s environment, conditions or process state changed. It can greatly improve the ability of workflow in adjusting changing needs of enterprise.This article will focus on the research and implementation of flexible workflow. The main contents include:First of all, we elaborate the drawback of tradition workflow in flexible inadequate and unable to adapt to rapidly changing needs. Secondly we study WFMC’s standard workflow model and the three-dimensional workflow model on the basis of that. Based on the theory of three-dimensional workflow model, using the thought of separation, we divide the flexibility of workflow into three parts:the flexibility of workflow form, the flexibility of workflow task allocation and the flexibility of workflow process. These three parts correspond to information model, organization model and process model of three-dimensional workflow model. Finally we do detailed research and implementation on every part of flexible workflow.The flexibility of workflow form:with the research and analysis of traditional workflow form system, we learn the drawback of old form system, put forward the plan of flexible form using workflow combined with SaaS dynamic form. With the combination of workflow and SaaS dynamic form we obtain the flexibility of workflow form.The flexibility of workflow task allocation:with the research of traditional workflow task allocation, we come to know the cause of the lack of flexibility of various distribution model, put forward adding workflow task assignment model of the external interface and the design of workflow task allocation of upper level uniform interface, and to achieve the flexibility of workflow task assignment.The flexibility of workflow process:with the research of WFMC’s standard workflow model, especially rule-based workflow model. Due to the complexity of workflow process flexibility achievement, we only get simple realization of it, put forward the design of the flexibility of workflow process combined activity pool with sub-process, and to achieve the flexibility of workflow process.
