In recent years, with the development of information technology, Business Process Management has been increasingly widely used in enterprise management work.Business Process Management plays an important role in the development of enterprise management. In academia, some research on Business Process Management has been well-studied. However, the traditional methods of Business Process Management couldn't satisfy users' requirement very well.In traditional ways,as the only basic element in processes, task is often too coarse or too fine in real applications, which makes it difficult to develop and manage tasks. Moreover, many tasks represent flexible traits. It's usually an impossible job to ascertain how to execute the task ahead. If we pre-define the task's structure with traditional procedural methods, the result will be complicated. And it makes it hard to construct, manage and maintain a task.To solve the problem discussed above,we propose a declarative approach to construct flexible tasks.Tasks are constructed by three steps. Firstly, user provides the system with the requirement of task and save it as XML.Secondly, the system extracts the requirement from XML and generates operations. Then, user is provided with the interfaces of operations.User bands the operation and the item of webpage which triggers it.Finally, when the activity is running, the system judges whether the activity has been done. The proposed approach in this paper has several features as follows.(1) Support constructing work in task level.Avoid the case that task is often too coarse or too fine in real applications,as mentioned above.(2) Support flexible tasks. The user experience is more free and relaxed. The structure of task is more flexible.(3) End user oriented.Eliminate the semantic gap. It's needless for user to spend much energy and time in studying the implements.
