Development And Application Of Knowledge Management System For Small And Medium Enterprises

With the continuous development of human social and economic activities, the role of knowledge in economic development is get more and more attention. In the field of management, the knowledge management theory had already begun, as the theoretical research matures, the research and development of knowledge management system is gradually put on the agenda. Such as Siemens, IBM and other large multinational companies, are all formed their own unique knowledge management system in the development process, and realized the knowledge management systems with their own characteristics.There are lots of knowledge management systems now on the market, but these systems mainly for large enterprises. Because of its complexity and costliness, it is difficult to adapt to the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) needs. In this paper, the knowledge management—SMEKMS is designed to meet the needs of SMEs knowledge management. In the system design process, the system function is targeted cut. That include automatic knowledge acquisition from internet in order to reduce the personnel costs compare to manual collection; realizing quickly search by using full-text index and keyword expansion etc; the reasonable knowledge classification can help employees focus on different knowledge category depending on the nature of the work. Then, based on the status of knowledge management for SMEs, combined with Web-based multi-tier architecture, Java language and MySQL database techniques, this paper designs the SMEs knowledge management system (SMEKMS). The system not only solved the problem of document unified storage and the entry of knowledge acquisition, classification, retrieval and display. In the realization of the core function, this article describes how to use JSoup parser to achieving network knowledge collection, use Lucene full-text indexing engine indexing knowledge and uses Pinyin tips, keyword expansion to implement knowledge retrieval. At last, the ShenJi system is been showed, and achieves the expected results by system testing.
